About the Role
Act as the bridge between product and real-world use, ensuring our platform works effectively within client and partner environments. This role combines full-stack development, system integrations, and close collaboration with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain robust production solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Partner Collaboration
- Work directly with clients and partners to understand processes, needs, and business challenges
- Translate requirements into concrete technical solutions, from discovery to implementation
- Act as the technical owner of delivered integrations and solutions
- Support onboarding, rollout, and troubleshooting sessions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Product Engineering & Integrations
- Develop and maintain integrations with partners and third-party systems using Ruby on Rails
- Implement features and “last-mile” customizations tailored to specific needs
- Work with modern frontend tools (Turbo, ViewComponents, React) to adjust user-facing experiences
- Contribute to reusable improvements in the core product based on client learnings
Operations & Production Reliability
- Monitor integrations and systems in production, ensuring stability and performance
- Investigate and resolve bugs, incidents, and integration failures
- Work closely with Delivery and Operations teams to respond quickly to critical needs
- Create documentation, runbooks, and best practices for ongoing support
Quality & Best Practices
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
- Ensure best practices in testing, debugging, and observability
Technical Requirements
- Solid experience with Ruby on Rails (APIs, production systems, debugging)
- Familiarity with modern frontend tools (Turbo, ViewComponents, React)
- Experience with Docker and deployment workflows
- Strong troubleshooting skills in production environments
- Experience working with integrations (APIs, webhooks, third-party systems)
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Observability tools (logs, metrics, monitoring)
- Experience with SaaS integrations
