About the Role
We are looking for a Full-Stack Product Engineer (AI-Savvy) to join our engineering team at LoopOS and help us build impactful, scalable, and user-centric product features.
This is a product-first engineering role - you will work across different areas of the product, owning the full development lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
More than just writing code, we are looking for someone who can understand the product, design the system before implementation, and use modern AI tools to accelerate execution. You will contribute across backend, frontend, architecture, and solution design, while staying close to users, stakeholders, and real business problems.
We want someone with strong engineering fundamentals and a modern development mindset: a builder who can move from product thinking to technical design, from rapid prototyping to production-ready delivery.
Technical Requirements
· Backend Development: Solid experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Ruby, or similar), and strong understanding of API design, business logic, and system behaviour.
· Frontend Development: Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or similar, and ability to build clean, intuitive, and functional user interfaces.
· Architecture Thinking: Ability to design simple, scalable, and maintainable systems — thinking clearly about structure, trade-offs, and long-term evolution before implementation begins.
· Product Understanding: Ability to understand user journeys, business context, and product goals, and translate them into effective technical solutions.
· AI-Assisted Development: Comfortable using modern AI development tools (e.g. Cursor, Copilot, LLM-based workflows) to prototype, iterate, and accelerate delivery.
· Workflow & Agent Orchestration: Familiarity with orchestrating workflows, automations, or agent-based systems when relevant to the problem being solved.
· Infrastructure & DevOps: Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and modern deployment practices.
· Rapid Prototyping: Ability to quickly test ideas, validate assumptions, and build lightweight PoCs or fixes without overcomplicating the solution.
· Quality & Testing: Good understanding of testing practices and writing reliable, maintainable code.
Key Responsibilities
· Build and ship product features end-to-end across backend, frontend, and integrations.
· Understand product problems, user journeys, and stakeholder needs before jumping into implementation.
· Design systems and technical approaches with clarity before code is written.
· Contribute to architecture decisions for new features and improvements to existing systems.
· Prototype quickly to test ideas, validate flows, and accelerate learning.
· Use AI tools and modern engineering workflows to improve speed, quality, and execution.
· Integrate automations or AI-based capabilities where they create meaningful product value.
· Maintain and improve existing codebase through iterative enhancements and pragmatic fixes.
· Collaborate closely with product, design, and business stakeholders to deliver useful solutions.
· Participate in code reviews and contribute to strong engineering practices across the team.
· Take ownership of your work while actively seeking input, feedback, and context from others.
Required Skills & Experience
· 2+ years of experience in full-stack or product-focused software development.
· Strong ability to work across backend and frontend with confidence.
· Experience building and evolving product features in real environments.
· Ability to think beyond implementation and contribute to architecture and solution design.
· Comfortable working closely with stakeholders and understanding user and business needs.
· Ability to work autonomously, structure problems clearly, and move things forward.
· Experience with modern development workflows, fast iteration cycles, and pragmatic delivery.
· Solid understanding of scalability, maintainability, performance, and good engineering trade-offs.
Nice to Have
· Experience with AI integrations such as LLMs, automations, RAG, or agent-based workflows.
· Familiarity with AI-assisted coding tools and modern AI-native development workflows.
· Experience with rapid prototyping and experimentation in product teams.
· Exposure to orchestration frameworks, multi-step workflows, or agent systems.
· Experience working in startups or fast-paced product environments.
· Interest in sustainability and the circular economy.
